Xiaomi Announces Mi 10 Lite, Comes with 5G Support


After introducing the Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro in China, Xiaomi also officially announced the smartphone flagship series to the global market through an online event.

But not only two brand-new smartphones were introduced, at the event Xiaomi apparently also introduced another variant, namely Mi 10 Lite 5G.

As the name implies, this smartphone is the most affordable Mi 10 variant and already supports 5G networks. Quoted from Slash Gear, Monday (3/30/2020), this smartphone really wants to expand 5G coverage in Europe.

Mi 10 Lite 5G comes with Snapdragon 765G support, different from its two siblings who use Snapdragon 865. This smartphone uses 6.57-inch AMOLED and already supports fingerprint in-display.

Turning to the camera, Xiaomi provides this device with four rear cameras, with a 48MP main lens and other lenses not yet revealed. While the need for selfies was left on the 16MP front camera.

Has a 4,160mAh battery, this smartphone already supports 20W fast charging. There are three color choices available, namely white, gray, and green.

According to the plan, this smartphone will be available in early May in Europe. Comes with two memory options, the Mi 10 Lite 5G with 64GB ROM is sold at 349 euros (IDR 6.3 million), while the 128GB ROM variant is priced at 399 euros (USD 7.2 million).

Last month, Xiaomi finally launched two of its newest smartphones, namely Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro. Both devices carry similar design and specification languages.

Quoted from GSM Arena, Thursday (02/13/2020), Mi 10 Pro comes as a higher variant. This smartphone is supported with Snapdragon 865 and has a 6.67 inch screen.

Xiaomi presents three memory options available, namely 8GB RAM / 256GB RAM, 12GB RAM / 256GB RAM, and 12GB RAM / 512GB RAM. All models have used LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.0 technology.

Turning to the photography sector, the Mi 10 Pro has four rear cameras. The main lens of the Mi 10 Pro is 108MP, while the other lenses are 12MP (telephoto), telephoto, and 20MP (ultrawide).

Mi 108 Pro's 108MP camera is also equipped with OIS and EIS features, including artificial intelligence. Performance is supported by a 4,500mAh battery capacity that is supported by the 50W fast charging feature.

The Mi 10 Pro, which comes in two color choices, blue and white, can be ordered starting on February 18, 2020. Prices start from 4,999 yuan (Rp. 9.8 million), 5,499 yuan (Rp. 10.7 million), and 5,999 yuan ( Rp. 11.7 million).

While for Mi 10, this device has the same screen size as the Pro version, which is 108MP. Xiaomi also still maintains the main camera with a 108MP resolution lens.

The difference lies in the other lenses used on this smartphone. The Mi 10 doesn't come with a telephoto lens, but a 2MP depth sensor and a 2MP macro lens. In addition, the ultrawide lens resolution is lower, which is 13MP.

Just like his brother, Mi 10 also equipped with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.0. But this smartphone's battery is only 4,780mAh with support for 30W fast charging.

This smartphone is present faster than Mi 10 Pro, which is on February 14, 2020. There are three colors available, namely peach, green, and black.

The Mi 10 is priced starting at 3,999 yuan (IDR 7.8 million) for 8GB RAM / 128GB RAM, while the 12GB RAM variant / 256GB RAM is sold at 4,299 yuan (IDR 8.4 million). While the highest variant, 12GB RAM / 256GB RAM is released 4,699 yuan (Rp. 9.2 million).
